Whoever stays in Laylat al-Qadr with the intention of faith and the intention of reward, his past sins are forgiven.
In the above instruction of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), where remembrance, obedience, and worship have been instructed during the hours of Laylat al-Qadr, it has also been pointed out that worship is for the sole purpose of pleasing Allaah. Don't be hypocritical, then promise not to do evil in the future. This night becomes good news of forgiveness for the servant who worships with this glory. But the person who finds that night but cannot worship is deprived.
